Every girl lives in a surreal world… dreams of a man who would shower her with expensive gifts…..

Take her out to fancy dinners…….

 

Give her Roses !!!

BUT…..The girls need to know life is all about small things and big gestures. The one who won’t give you roses and fancy gifts… who is unable to remember your birthday, but would treat you special whenever possible. If you have such a man in your life… don’t let him go…

My life with my husband started with the strangest gifts… I clearly remember the occasion, it was just 2 weeks before our wedding, when he had to meet my friends to get their approval as well… he came to my house, and had a gift bag in his hand.

My friends were pretty excited about what he had it in the bag… as soon as my mom called him for dinner, and He left the guest room. My friends rocketed towards the bag, and opened it… and we all burst into tears while laughing….

The bag had ‘glucose’ and ‘a Panadol’…..

Reason : I was sick with Malaria… at that time I felt stupid in front of my friends… but now I think it was pretty amazing of him.

I was always bothered about his approach towards giving gifts. Until I actually started using them. Some examples of his gifts to me are

1. Ankle support

I am kind of flat footed!!!

 

2. Thermal Suit/leather socks

He knows I feel cold, and I hate wearing sweaters!!!

 

3. Thermal Mug

Coz I love my tea really hot!!!

4. Different kinds of comfy shoes

Those which would make my day to day work easier.

And yes, he knows I love snow globes… So he gets me those too…

 

 

But mostly He gives me the things that I will utilize and the ones that will make me comfortable. All this shows he cares for you. if you have such a man in your life … cherish your relationship with him.

If that is not love I don’t know what is!!!

If he has these 5 flaws… He doesn’t deserve you!!!

Men… they can get on to your nerves … every couple has their fair share of fights now and then.  But if he has these 5 flaws… Run!! and never look back…

1.He drinks (or is an addict)

There is no excuse for being a ‘chirssi mavaali’ or ‘sharabi’ …These two bad habits can ruin not only His life but also yours. Such people tend to be physically and mentally abusive towards their partners. If he is an addict reconsider your relationship with him. 

2. He is overly possessive

It’s OK to be possessive , in fact possessiveness keeps the flame alive in a relationship. But at the same time if He can’t bear your parents, siblings, relatives, close friends or any one who comes near you… its time to break loose of such relationship.

3. If he constantly blames You for his problem

Men usually treat their partners as a punching bag sometimes. They show their true colors to the one person who is closest to them. But if this is a habit, and he is always accusing you for his problems, then you might want to reconsider your choice. Such relations are a sheer torture for a woman. Such a man lack the trait of being Responsible, and constantly live in a state of denial.

 

4. If he is always guilt tripping

This kind of a man has super manipulative powers. it’s almost his Superpower to make others guilty after everything he does wrong. You would find yourself feeling sorry for him, after every argument. and you would ultimately blame yourself for starting the fight ( They know HOW to play!!!). and these kind of men can make you do what ever they want!!!

5. He is a liar/cheat

Such a man has no limits. Once a cheat is always a cheat. Some men are really professional liars (by that i don’t mean lawyers). They can’t be caught. and if they get caught they will lie more… So if you find your man cheating on you… it’s time to give a kick on his A$$.

 

 

P.S:  Relationships, marriage, They work on the basic principle of mutual respect and compromise by both parties. If you are the only one making it work, then take a moment and review the choice you made. make it work only if it’s worth it.

MY NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS

 

YEAR 2018

Hello, Peeps…! Sub say phalay Happy New Year To All of You…! Hope This Year brings with it the Hope for a New Beginning, some New Possibilities, and many New Dreams to Fulfill Ameen… !

I wanted to write this blog Yesterday but my kids were sleepless in Seattle mode… phir raat kay 5 bajay  un ko maaa per tarsss aahee gayeh so they went to sleep and I finally got some time to write this blog.

As you can tell my post is about New Years Resolution but before jumping into that I would like to Thank ALLAH Pak for  blessing us with Wonderful times in last year. 2017 was full of surprises… opportunities for making our future secure and the best thing was the Birth of My Youngest Baby… Mohammad Mikael Khan My Methaa Larkaaa 😍

Now coming back to the topic, every year millions of people list down their aspirations, aims and targets and promise to fulfill them in the new year. Woh alag baat hai Kya in Resolutions ko we take seriously or not 😁😉

MY NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS FOR 2018:

1) Weight Loss: have to lose 15 to 16 kgs this year…. I have to Restrain Myself from eating Brownies and Cakes as Much as Possible…! And I Mean It…! At least  I Hope So… 😎

2) Plan more activities that bring Me Happiness and Pleasure.

3) Become a Full Time Blogger: for that I need Persistence, Stability and Determination which I have now but mein Bohaat jaldi BORE hojate houn… I need change…. But This Time I Will Stick To What I Have Started IN SHAHALLAH…!

4) To Travel: Anywhere Whenever Possible…!

5) To Be a Better Person.

6) Most Important I’ll be Punctual In Offering My Prayers… IN SHAH ALLAH

I would like suggest you all to let go of grudges and avoid Negativity… Try To Find Good In Other… Take Charge Of Your Life In Your Hands and Be Happy…! Most Importantly Show Gratitude… Be Thankful… Inspire Others and Get Inspired…

3 reasons why your Mother In Law won’t let you breastfeed

Breastfeeding is the most beautiful bond a mother and child shares. It has many advantages for both the mother and child. But sometimes a girl married in a typical desi setup will have many problems while establishing this relationship with her baby. The reason being ‘Sasu maa ki thaanaydaari’.  Your MIL will pretend she feels for you , and during the first days of your mother-baby relationship. She will insist on feeding a bottle to your baby. but don’t fall for it.. it’s a facade !!!

 

Here are 3 reasons why your MIL won’t let you breastfeed.

1. Because saasu maa thinks it will ruin your figure (over kisamm ki bahu ki soch)

Here the bahu thinks that  saas is her well-wisher. She assumes that saaso maa wont let her breast feed coz ‘those’ two friends of yours would become saggy and misshapen. And it would make her husband love you less with a ruined figure (well reality check !!! that’s the ultimate goal of your MIL) so strike this reason off the check list if you are married in a typical desi setup.

2. Less time for household chores

Now that’s what I called one valid reason. If ‘muft ki nokarani’ would be sitting all day, feeding her baby, nursing her/him ‘to ghar k barrtan isska baap dhoyay ga?’. The bahu must not forget that in a desi set up ‘bahu kaam nai karay ge to baytay ki shadi karnay ka faida??’ so MIL will be strictly against breastfeeding, and will do anything in her capacity to stop you.

3. She didn’t breastfeed, so she won’t let you

 

This reason has several reasons!!! First her own MIL didn’t let her breastfeed, ‘kyeun kay saas bhe kabhi bahu the’ so your MIL will apply the ancient formula of taking revenge of her ‘saas’ from her own ‘bahu’.

Secondly your MIL was a ‘haseena-e-alam’ in her ‘jawani’ and she didn’t want to ruin her figure, she did not breastfeed her children.

And for some odd reasons her SON know that she didn’t breastfeed him. Then my dear girl, she won’t let your breastfeed. Reason: “ bahu kay number baytay ki nazar may zayada na ho jain”. This is the worst-case gals. At this point she will harass you, will become ruthless, she will become an ‘anti breatfeeding thulla’ and she will not stop on anyone’s account unless you stop breastfeeding.

These were some covert reasons why your MIL is against breastfeeding. She will never let you know what goes in her mind. so, you’ll have to crack the case yourself.A word of advice: don’t crack her skull while cracking the case, she’s your husbands mother after all :-p.

PS: bottle feed or breatfeed, the choice should always be yours. No one other than yourself has the right decide what is best for your child.

My Love For Tea

Chai….! They say If Tea Can’t Fix It than Its a Serious Problem…!

Chai is what we call Tea in our country… It’s is a pure addiction to many people just like Coffee… The first thing that comes to my mind early in the morning is tea… Subha Subha Nahi If Us Mein Chai Nahi…!😉 and Sonay say Phalay bhe Chai…! Basically her kam say phalay and kernay kay baad chai…

Different People consider CHAI Differently. It is Introduction… Revolution… Obsession… Ambition…Addiction…

Tea / Chai has a rich history and culture. It is often Associated with Medicine, Social Etiquette, and Even Fortune Telling! Ooooo Yes… If you live in Karachi you must have heard of the Famous Fortune Teller “Tea Lady”. When I was a kid I once visited her with my cousin, she was a Italian Lady who Serves You Tea and the way you drink you tea Describes Your Future…! Strange Na… 😎

My grandfather told us the stories on how Britishers bought Tea to subcontinent… It was offered free of cost just to develop its flavour and now here we are importing tea of billion dollars… 😎
